The Billing page in Sprintr is where you manage your subscription, view invoices, and control how credits are used — including enabling Pay‑As‑You‑Go (PAYG) so you can continue generating images and videos after your included credits are used.
What you’ll see on the Billing page
1) Your personal account plan
A summary of your current plan, typically including:
Plan name
Included monthly credits
Next payment date
Billing cadence (monthly or annual)
Buttons to Manage subscription and Cancel subscription (depending on your account permissions)
2) Billing History
A table of past invoices and/or payments, with options to view and download invoices (e.g. PDF) where available.
3) Usage Summary (credits and PAYG)
A usage panel showing:
Included credits used vs remaining (per billing period)
The date your credits reset
PAYG status (Enabled/Disabled) and, when enabled, PAYG tracking such as overage credits and pending/unbilled charges
Manage subscription (upgrade, downgrade, or change billing cycle)
Select Manage subscription to open the plan selection screen
From here you can:
Upgrade to a higher plan
Downgrade to a lower plan (where available)
Switch between Monthly and Yearly billing (if permitted for your current plan/state)
Your billing currency (based on your country) is chosen at checkout and used for future billing.
How upgrades and downgrades work
Sprintr handles plan changes in a predictable way, depending on whether you’re upgrading or downgrading and whether you pay monthly or annually.
Upgrades (moving to a higher plan)
Upgrades take effect immediately. You’ll gain access to the higher plan straight away.
Billing behaviour:
Monthly → higher monthly: you’re charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the current month.
Annual → higher annual: you’re charged the prorated difference for the remaining time in the annual term.
Monthly → annual (same plan or higher plan): annual billing starts immediately and replaces the monthly cycle (no refund for unused monthly time).
Free trial → any paid plan: upgrade is immediate and the paid billing cycle begins at the moment you upgrade.
Downgrades (moving to a lower plan)
Downgrades do not take effect immediately. They are scheduled for your next renewal date, and you keep access to the higher plan until then.
Billing behaviour:
Monthly → lower monthly: the new (lower) price applies at next monthly renewal.
Annual → lower annual: the new (lower) price applies at next annual renewal.
No partial refunds are issued for downgrades.
Switching billing cycle (monthly vs annual)
Monthly → annual: takes effect immediately; you’re charged the full annual amount and the monthly cycle ends (no refund for unused days).
Annual → monthly: typically only allowed at renewal; the change is scheduled for the end of the annual term.
Cancelling your subscription
Select Cancel subscription to stop your plan renewing.
Paid plans: cancellation applies at renewal (you keep access until the end of the current billing period).
Free trial: if you cancel during the trial, the trial ends immediately.
Pay‑As‑You‑Go (PAYG) for image and video generation
PAYG lets you continue generating images and videos once you’ve used your plan’s included monthly credits. PAYG is off by default and is designed to be safe, with a monthly budget cap and optional usage alerts to avoid surprises.
When PAYG is useful
Enable PAYG if you want to:
avoid generation being blocked when included credits run out
keep working without upgrading immediately
control spend with a hard monthly limit
Enable PAYG
In Usage Summary, select Enable PAYG.
When enabling PAYG, you’ll be prompted to:
Confirm a payment method (add one if you don’t have one saved)
Set a monthly PAYG budget cap (a hard maximum PAYG spend for the month)
(Where available) Set usage alerts (e.g. 50/80/100% of cap and/or included credits)
Confirm consent to be charged for PAYG usage up to your cap
After enabling, your PAYG status switches to Enabled.
How PAYG charging works (important)
PAYG is postpaid and consolidated — you’re not billed for every single generation.
Sprintr tracks PAYG usage (credits and cost) as you generate.
Charges are applied automatically to your saved payment method when:
your unbilled PAYG amount reaches a billing threshold (where configured), and/or
at the end of your billing cycle.
PAYG charges will never exceed your monthly cap.
If a generation would take you over your remaining PAYG budget, Sprintr blocks the request and prompts you to increase your cap or upgrade your plan.
PAYG budget cap and alerts
Budget cap (hard stop)
The cap is a hard limit. Once reached:
further image/video generation is blocked on PAYG
you’ll be given options to increase the cap, upgrade your plan, or stop
Alerts (to avoid surprises)
Where available, you can enable alerts for:
Included credit usage (e.g. 50/80/100%)
PAYG budget usage (e.g. 50/80/100% of cap)
Alerts are designed to trigger once per threshold per billing period.
Viewing PAYG usage and billing
In the Usage Summary area (and/or Billing History), you’ll be able to see:
included credits remaining and reset date
PAYG enabled status
PAYG spend so far this period and remaining budget (cap minus spend)
pending/unbilled PAYG amount (where shown)
Troubleshooting
I upgraded but I still see the old plan on Billing
Refresh the page. If it still hasn’t updated after a few minutes, check Billing History for a new invoice/charge and contact support.
I tried to downgrade but nothing changed
That’s expected. Downgrades apply at your next renewal date, and you keep your current plan features until then.
Generation is blocked
This usually happens because:
you’ve used your included credits and PAYG is disabled, or
PAYG is enabled but you’ve hit your monthly cap Enable PAYG, increase your cap, or upgrade your plan.
I want to move from annual to monthly
This change is typically only available at renewal. You can schedule it and it will take effect when the annual term ends.
