Understand the SEO score

Use the content score to prioritise improvements without treating it as a search ranking.

The SEO score is an assessment of the listing content Sprintr can inspect. It runs from 0 to 100 and helps you identify products that could benefit from clearer, more complete content.

What contributes to the score

  • Title: how well the product is identified and described.

  • Description: the quality and completeness of the product explanation.

  • Discovery information: supported platform fields, such as tags or item specifics.

  • Images: the listing’s available product imagery and related assessment.

  • Conversion information: content that helps a shopper make a buying decision.

  • Technical quality: relevant structure and content checks.

The standard category weights are Title 20%, Description 20%, Discovery 15%, Images 20%, Conversion 12% and Technical 13%. When a platform does not support the discovery category, Sprintr redistributes that weight proportionally across the remaining categories. The fields you can optimise also depend on your platform.

Use the score alongside the analysis

  1. Open the product’s Content & SEO tab.

  2. Read Sprintr Analysis and the recommended action, rather than choosing changes from the number alone.

  3. Improve the relevant fields and review the final wording and images.

  4. After publishing and subsequent analysis, compare the result with the new analysis date.

What the score cannot tell you

The score is not your position in Google or a marketplace search result. It does not measure guaranteed traffic, conversion or sales. Clear, accurate product information is more useful than adding repeated keywords simply to pursue a higher number.

Why a score may be missing or unchanged

A dash indicates that a usable assessment is unavailable. Check sync and analysis status. If you have only generated or saved a draft, the live listing has not changed. If you have published, check the analysis date before comparing the old score with the new content.
