Review and revert listing changes

Compare recorded updates and inspect what an eligible revert would change.

Use the History tab inside a listing to review its recorded changes. Where a change is eligible, you can inspect and confirm a revert.

Review a change

  1. Open the product from My Stores and select History.

  2. Find the entry by its date and change type.

  3. Compare the Before and After values. For longer copy, select View full comparison to expand the field.

  4. Check which fields were changed, rather than assuming the whole listing was replaced.

History records the change and lets you inspect longer fields in full.

Revert an eligible change

  1. Select Revert on the relevant entry.

  2. In Confirm Revert, compare the current content with the values before and after the proposed revert.

  3. Check every affected field. Later edits can mean the current content differs from the historical “after” value.

  4. Select Revert only if the resulting values are the ones you want. Select Cancel to keep the listing as it is.

A revert is a new change to the listing. It can replace newer wording or prices, so review the confirmation rather than treating it as a harmless preview.

If you cannot revert

Revert is available only for eligible entries. An entry that has already been reverted may no longer offer it. If the store is disconnected, reconnect it before retrying. Read any field-level result or error and check the store before repeating an action.
