How Sprintr Protects Your Data
Your data remains your property. We simply help you use it to grow.
At Sprintr, we believe you should always know exactly how your business data is being used. You should always be in total control. As sellers ourselves, we built Sprintr with a "Safety First" rule. Here is a plain-language explanation of how we handle your information.
We Only Use Official Connections
When you connect a store to Sprintr, we never ask for your marketplace password. Instead, we use each platform's own official API—the same secure, approved connection method used by all legitimate applications.
Credentials stay private: Your login details stay with the marketplace, not with us.
You choose access: Each connection goes through a formal authorisation flow where you explicitly choose what Sprintr can see.
Revoke any time: You can stop our access at any moment directly from your marketplace account settings.
We support Etsy, Amazon, eBay, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace. In every case, the connection uses that platform's own vetted integration channel.
We Only Access What You Authorise
When you connect a store, you will see a permissions screen from the marketplace itself. Sprintr only reads the data those permissions cover—things like your product listings, pricing, inventory levels, and sales performance.
We do not access your customers' personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to fulfil a specific task, and we do not place tracking on your storefront or on your buyers' devices.
We Do Not Hold or Sell Your Data
Sprintr is a workspace tool, not a data warehouse. We use your store data to provide recommendations and help you prepare updates. We do not build profiles on your customers, aggregate your data to sell to third parties, or use your business information to train our systems.
We do not sell personal data. Full stop.
Your Data is Isolated
Your store data is never shared with or exposed to other sellers on our platform. What is authorised for your account is used only for your account. This applies across all connected platforms. Your store data is isolated to your private workspace.
How We Keep Data Secure
Encryption: All data in transit between Sprintr and your connected stores is encrypted using TLS.
Secure Tokens: Access tokens that authorise your store connections are stored encrypted and are never exposed in plain text.
Strict Access: We apply access controls so that only the systems that need your data to provide the service can reach it.
Monitoring: We maintain security monitoring and logging to detect and respond to unusual activity.
GDPR and UK GDPR
Sprintr Ltd is registered in England and Wales and operates under UK GDPR and EU GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. To make a request, email [email protected].
Disconnecting a Store
You can disconnect any store at any time from your Sprintr dashboard. When you do, we stop syncing data from that store immediately. You can also revoke access directly from the marketplace's own settings.
