Step 1 - Configuring videos in Bulk Optimisation

Generate short product videos using prompts, product images, and reference assets.

Configuring videos in Bulk Optimisation

Video settings control how Sprintr creates short product videos during a Bulk Optimisation run.

You can use video generation to create more engaging listing content, show products in use, support seasonal campaigns, or create richer product assets across multiple listings at once.

Video generation can be used on its own, or alongside copy and image generation.

Turning video generation on or off

In the Configure step, you can choose whether Videos are included in the run.

If Videos are switched on, Sprintr will generate video content for each selected listing.

If Videos are switched off, Sprintr will not create videos for that run.

You can combine Videos with Copy and Images, or run video generation on its own.

Video credit cost

Videos use credits.

The current cost is:

15 credits per video

Your run summary shows the estimated video cost before you generate anything.

The estimate is based on:

  • number of selected listings

  • number of videos per listing

  • video credit cost

For example, if you select 3 listings and generate 1 video per listing, Sprintr will estimate 3 videos in total.

Copy is included, but videos use credits.

Videos per listing

Use Videos per listing to choose how many videos Sprintr should generate for each selected listing.

For example:

1 video per listing

means Sprintr will create one video for each selected product.

The run summary updates automatically so you can check the estimated credit cost before continuing.

How Sprintr uses product and image assets

Video generation uses visual assets to understand what should appear in the video.

This may include:

  • the product’s primary listing image

  • images already linked to the listing

  • assets from Asset Manager

  • newly uploaded reference images

  • brand assets such as logos, labels, or packaging

  • lifestyle or model reference images

These assets help Sprintr understand the product, brand, setting, and visual direction before generating the video.

Adding reference assets

In the Video settings section, you can add images from Asset Manager or upload new assets during the run.

Reference assets may include:

  • product images

  • model images

  • lifestyle references

  • logos

  • labels

  • packaging

  • supporting products

  • brand or campaign references

These assets guide the video but do not automatically publish to your store.

You review the generated video before deciding whether to use it.

Writing a video prompt

The video prompt tells Sprintr what kind of video to create.

Your prompt can describe:

  • the setting

  • the mood

  • how the product should appear

  • whether the video should feel premium, playful, clean, lifestyle-led, or promotional

  • whether the product should be shown in use

  • whether the video should include movement, close-ups, or scene changes

  • how reference assets should be used

For example:

Create a short lifestyle video showing the product in a bright modern home setting, with calm movement, close-up details, and a premium minimal feel.

The same prompt is applied across the selected listings, but Sprintr adapts it for each individual product.

Using the suggested prompt

Sprintr can suggest a video prompt based on the selected product and assets.

Use the suggested prompt when you want AI to recommend a starting point.

You can then edit the prompt before generating.

This is useful if you want a strong creative direction but do not want to write the full prompt yourself.

Video settings

Video settings let you control the format and style of the generated video.

Depending on your setup, you may see options such as:

  • audio

  • text overlay

  • logo placement

  • orientation

  • length

  • resolution

Audio

Audio controls whether the generated video should include sound.

Turn audio on if sound is useful for the intended use case.

Turn audio off if the video is mainly for marketplace listing media, silent browsing, or platforms where shoppers often watch without sound.

Text overlay

Text overlay controls whether Sprintr may include visible text in the video.

Use this carefully.

Some platforms have rules or limitations around promotional claims, visible text, badges, or overlays.

If you are unsure, keep text overlay off and use the listing title, description, or captions for written messaging instead.

Logo placement

Logo placement controls whether and where a logo should appear in the generated video.

If you include a logo asset, make sure your prompt explains how it should be used.

For example, you may want the logo to appear:

  • subtly on packaging

  • as a small corner brand mark

  • at the end of the video

  • not at all

Use logo placement only when it supports the listing and does not make the video feel cluttered.

Orientation

Orientation controls the shape of the generated video.

Common options may include:

  • 16:9

  • 9:16

Choose the orientation based on where the video will be used.

For example, 16:9 may work better for wider product media placements, while 9:16 may suit vertical or social-style formats.

Length

Length controls how long the generated video should be.

Options may include:

  • 8 seconds

  • 15 seconds

Shorter videos are useful for quick product highlights.

Longer videos give Sprintr more room to show setting, detail, movement, or use case.

Resolution

Resolution controls the output quality of the generated video.

Options may include:

  • 720p

  • 1080p

Higher resolution may be better for polished product media, but may use more processing time or depend on the available generation settings.

How video settings apply across multiple listings

Video settings are shared across the run, but Sprintr adapts the output for each listing.

This means you can set one shared creative direction while each product receives its own generated video.

For example, if you select several homeware products and ask for a calm lifestyle video in a bright modern home, Sprintr will generate a separate video for each product using that product’s own details and visual assets.

Reviewing generated videos

Generated videos do not go live automatically.

After the run completes, you review each video in the Review step.

You can:

  • preview the generated video

  • approve it

  • skip it

  • regenerate it

  • check whether it can be applied automatically

  • see whether manual upload is required

Only approved videos are included when you publish or schedule the bulk update.

Regenerating a video

If a generated video is not right, you can regenerate it during review.

The regenerate video flow lets you adjust video settings before creating a replacement.

You may be able to change:

  • reference assets

  • prompt

  • AI recommended prompt

  • audio

  • text overlay

  • logo placement

  • orientation

  • length

  • resolution

Sprintr then generates a new version.

The original video is not replaced until you choose to use the regenerated result.

Manual upload notes

Some connected stores may not support automatic video publishing through their API.

Where this happens, Sprintr will flag the video clearly.

You may need to download the generated video and upload it manually to the relevant store or marketplace.

This does not mean the video failed. It means the platform may not allow Sprintr to apply that asset automatically.

Good ways to configure videos

For best results:

  • choose listings that share a similar visual goal

  • use clear product or lifestyle reference assets

  • keep the video prompt specific but not overloaded

  • use text overlay only when it is genuinely useful

  • choose orientation based on where the video will be used

  • use shorter videos for simple product highlights

  • use longer videos when you need more product context

  • check platform requirements before publishing or uploading videos

If different products need very different video styles, consider creating separate bulk runs.

What you should take away

Video settings tell Sprintr how to create short product videos across your selected listings.

You can control the number of videos, prompt, reference assets, audio, text overlay, logo placement, orientation, length, and resolution.

Videos use credits, and the estimated cost is shown before generation.

Nothing goes live until you review and approve the generated videos.
