Improve a listing’s images and video

Review image metadata, create new media and choose what to include in your listing.

Use Image & Video in the Listing Optimiser to improve one product’s media. Existing-image metadata, new images and new videos share a review workflow, so you can prepare them together and publish only the changes you want.

Open the media workspace

You can also resume a saved workspace from Optimise Listings → Listing Optimiser. Choose the current product under Your listings, then follow the steps below. See Save and resume listing optimisation workspaces to keep progress across products.

  1. To start from a product, open its Content & SEO tab and select Optimise your listing. If you resumed a saved optimiser workspace, keep the current listing open.

  2. Select Image & Video.

  3. Choose the product image you want to work with. Use Add Your Image if you need another reference.

  4. Choose Image Metadata, Create new images or Create new videos. Available options and publishing support depend on your connected platform.

Choose metadata editing or new-media creation from the same workspace.

Review existing-image metadata

  1. Choose the image and open Image Metadata.

  2. Allow the suggestions to load, then compare the current and optimised fields.

  3. Choose Keep current or Use optimised for each supported field. Edit the suggestion where needed.

  4. Select Save Image Metadata to include your choices in the draft for final review.

Follow any Manual update required notice. For WooCommerce, caption and description suggestions must be copied into the image’s fields in your store admin; Sprintr can publish supported alt-text and title changes.

Write alt text that describes what is actually visible and helps someone understand the product. Check colours, pack size and pictured props. Avoid lists of search keywords or claims the image does not support.

Create a new image or video

  1. Choose a clear primary product image, then open Create new images or Create new videos.

  2. Under Reference & assets, add relevant supporting images from the listing, your library or an upload. Respect the displayed reference limit.

  3. Expand Composition & settings. For images, choose the aspect ratio or ratios and the number of Variants. For video, check audio, orientation, length and resolution.

  4. Use Brand & Style guide for a consistent visual direction. For images, review Model & quality as well.

  5. Review the suggested prompt, select Suggest another or write your own. Asset tokens connect the brief to reference images; adjust their priority when a reference needs more or less emphasis.

  6. Check the displayed output quantity and credit estimate, then select the generation button when you are ready.

  7. Inspect the result at full size. Accept the media you want to include, or refine the brief and regenerate. Further generation can use more credits.

In step 3, review both ratios and variants. This example uses one ratio and one image variant, producing one image.

Each image variant is made in every selected ratio. For example, two ratios and two image variants produce four images. These creative variants are separate from a product’s size or colour variants. Check the total and displayed limit before generating.

For video in step 3, check the orientation, length, resolution and audio settings before generating. A logo placement requires a logo asset.

Review and make changes live

  1. Select Review & Publish after saving or accepting changes.

  2. Check the selected copy fields, metadata, media and image order in the final review.

  3. Complete publishing now or scheduling for later. Read any platform-specific manual-upload notice. If Sprintr cannot upload a media type to your platform, download it and add it in the store admin.

  4. Open the live product to check its final appearance.

Generating never replaces your existing listing images by itself. You choose the media to include. Auto Saved describes the draft; publishing or scheduling is a separate step.

If review is unavailable

Check that you have saved metadata choices or accepted a media change. If you also changed copy choices, select Save Copy Choices before continuing. If generation is blocked, check the remaining credits, PAYG setting and budget cap in Billing.

Continue with another listing later

When working in a multi-listing workspace, each product keeps its own references, generated media and review choices. Select Save for later to keep progress across the workspace. Saving a profile keeps reusable settings; it does not save the generated images or videos. To reuse selected settings or a generated image, see Reuse optimisation settings and content across listings.
